How do you mean, should the schools or the parents themselves be taxed?

I mean VAT charged on the fees, so when the parents are quoted a price, VAT at whatever percentage is included in that price.

How about charging VAT on university fees so since they are not essential education as such?

Universities are provided by the state and there is no alternative eductaion, so they are a nescessity(and useful) while private schools area luxury because there is an alternative

Are vocational schools and private courses, or Fás courses VAT exempt at the moment?
